Demand and supply are like two different parts of business. If one works properly then the other is bound to work properly. If demand is higher than supply should be higher but sometimes to hike the prices there is less supply of products so that people buy at given prices. Not to go deep into economics but demand and supply chain both play an important part in the growth of business. The collection of demand data is compared with collection of supply data and through that the growth of business is measured. Demand and supply chain can be hard to manage when business is going through loss but it is also key that gives business an opportunity to grow from loss.
To maintain demand and supply chain in equally balanced way businesses have to keep check on everyday activities of business, starting from production of products to supply of products to consumer's reviews on products, these activities can keep businesses updated regarding their products and through that businesses can figure out if they should continue to work in the direction they are going or they are required to change their path. So, demand is connected with supply and vice versa. Both of them have equal importance in business.
